This class is for students who have always wanted to learn to paint with oil and those who have knowledge of the medium and want to expand their skills. Students may use traditional oil paints or water based oil paints. We will work from direct observation with a live model and a variety of subject matter while exploring color, form, light and composition. The class will focus on the materials and techniques of painting. There is strong focus and support on individual ideas and concepts as you progress in this class. Some drawing experience is helpful.
